Executive Summary:
Louise is an alternative health care practitioner with 16 years in
traditional health care, with a background in dentistry. Her goal
is to bridge the two – traditional and alternative – so
that massage, healing touch and hypnosis can be viewed as complementary
to traditional medicine, allowing her to treat the whole person rather
than just one aspect.
She became interested in these different modalities as it became clear

About TMJD Massage
Therapy TMJD is not one disorder but a group of
symptoms, usually painful, that involve the jaw and neck muscles.
TMJD can be brought on by a variety of problems such as traumatic
injury to the jaw or neck, whiplash injuries, arthritis of
the TMJ, an uneven bite, or poor postural habits but most
commonly caused by stress. Your massage therapist may employ
a variety of techniques such as ice massage, myofascial release,
neuromuscular therapy, swedish and hot stone massage.
