My practice joined James River Trade Exchange in November
2003. As one of the first members to join the exchange, I
have been able to watch it grow and see how businesses, including
mine, have benefited from its services.
Becoming a member of James River Trade Exchange and using
trade as a form of currency is a great way for businesses
to cut cash costs on goods and services. I recently moved
to a new office location and was able to pay for a new telephone
system and carpet cleaning by bartering my dental services.
My practice has also been able to use our dental services
to pay for window cleaning, gifts for my employees, and massage
sessions. Instead of paying these expenses out of pocket,
I have been able to purchase these things by providing service
to James River Trade members.
James River Trade Exchange has also given me a mechanism
to reduce unused inventory. In my business, unused inventory
comes in the form of appointment slots that are not filled.
JRTE has allowed me to fill some of these slots and acquire
the additional trade income. I would have been paying my employees
anyway, so I have added this income without adding any significant
cost.
JRTE can help any company become more efficient through using
its business resources and options. I confidently recommend
